Road, Rail & Underground Tunnel Fans

At PSB we create bespoke symmetrical and asymmetrical jet fans for use in all below ground applications including tunnels. The fans are dseigned and manufactured at our parent company, Witt & Sohn AG in Germany. Our jet fans are used across the world in rail, road, metro, underground and wind tunnels in Hong Kong, China, Australia, Russia, Germany, Spain and the UK. Specifically designed to effectively remove pollutants, smoke and control temperatures our tunnel fans are the ultimate in tunnel safety.

Our symmetrical fans can be manufactured to generate partial or complete reversibility. In addition, our standard range of jet fans offer a thrust from 35N up to 2,800N. Higher values are possible on request. Working with you we can design and manufacture tunnel fans with any length of silencer, which means the optimum sound pressure level can be achieved. Our specially developed impellers can operate at very high tip speeds and run at very high temperatures.
