PSBs Impulse Ventilation System works mainly as an environmental control system but in the event of a fire, automatically switches into fire mode.

On detection, the system also contacts the fire service and instructs drivers to leave their cars.

On two separate occasions, PSB car park ventilation systems have helped to avert potential disasters.
